Deborah Starkey is a writer, mother of four beautiful kiddos, and grandmother of four beautiful mini-kiddos. I am also a retired English teacher, librarian, and an Army veteran. I’ve named my blog, MomMom Dobbie’s Musings because my grandchildren call me MomMom instead of Grandmom. Grandmom was too difficult to say, and MomMom was the result. Dobbie is a result of my youngest grandson trying to say Debbie, and since I love Harry Potter, it stuck. Musings is not only because I wanted some alliteration, but also because I wanted this blog to be a place for me to practice my writing by writing about my thoughts.
