Prompt: Reveal a superpower you’d love to have and what you’d do with it.

I am a sucker for historical fiction. Not because I want to find my soulmate from another era. I have found my soulmate, thank you very much. No, I would just like to experience what it would be like during some of these times and places. Not to stay. I’ve already discussed how much I appreciate soft toilet paper, so modern plumbing and hygiene would naturally follow in my list of must-haves. I just want to visit, like Mary Poppins, jumping into a chalk picture. I don’t want to change anything (even though I would not be able to contain myself if I saw slavery or the mistreatment of women). I don’t want to hunt dinosaurs like in Ray Bradbury’s “A Sound of Thunder.” I just want to know what it was like without reading about it. Therefore, this would be a superpower I’d love to have. I want to be able to beam there and back like on Star Trek, just for the experience.
